This little Tie has become a shop favorite in our studio. The amount of details and extras that went into this project just made it go from pop to wow. The mud effects came out just as we had hoped. A grand encounter, the What-If of the Hobbits of LOTR meeting the Ewoks from Star Wars. Several fun shots of the story being told and all of the details that are involved in this.

This year for Comicpalooza we started doing many mash-ups, taking 2-3 varying themes and mashing them into one complete project. Here we have the Invasion of Hogwarts. With Star Wars, Star Trek, and 2001 A Space Odyssey all thrown in. It made for a funny but compelling diorama. We already have so many new ideas we will be bringing to life soon.

Only 1 more day until Comicpalooza and this year we have well over 500 items all hand-made by us! It’s load-in day for us which means the next 10 hours are setting up and last minute repairs and just making the NEW layout mind blowing for all!

And now we have the beginning of a most peculiar project that should be jaw dropping. The first that we know of, meeting of the Shire folk or Hobbits and the Ewoks from Return of the Jedi. Watch as this comes to life in this crazy mash-up! Comicpalooza is getting so close!!

Here is the progress from start to near finish of this At-st being cut right in half. We will be adding Luke up front as well as making the base itself pop more and the walker itself too. Don’t forget to come see us at Comicpalooza Memorial weekend!
