Remove the door from its hinges
Chemically strip the old finish down to its bare wood
Wash the stripper residue off
Repair minor damages, if any at no additional cost
Sand door thoroughly
Apply a premium stain
Spray at least 4 cans of Helmsman UV protecting spar urethane
Install free weather strip, if necessary
Re-install door and put on hardwood
