Claire Lynn Home Thanks so much for stopping by! My name is Claire and I am behind Claire Lynn Home! Check out the blog over at www.clairelynnhome.com. I LOVE antique furniture!

They don't make furniture like they did back then... all wood.. no particle board. While antique furniture may not fit your style, you may find that after I've painted it and added new hardware, it is the perfect piece for your home! I live in Spring Branch/Bulverde, TX, but you can find my pieces in Fredericksburg (Miss Lavenders Room) and soon to be in Boerne (Corner Cartel).

Have you tried a paint sprayer? What was your experience? I am in love with my new that I used to paint this dresser! (ad)

I have been painting furniture with a brush for years because I had yet to find a paint sprayer that gave me a finish I liked. This Graco TrueCoat 360 Variable Speed paint sprayer has completely changed my furniture painting game! This sprayer gave my dresser a smooth finish and I can’t wait to paint my next piece of furniture with it.

A few features that I love about this sprayer is that it comes with 4 spray tips (two for paint and two for stain) and it has variable speeds that can be controlled from 1-10. But, my most favorite feature of all has to be that it can spray paint or stain in ANY direction (even upside down)!

If you have any questions about using a paint sprayer versus a brush, drop them in the comments!

I shared these amazing, feather-filled chairs from in stories today. I am in LOVE! These are the Cloud chairs and they have to be the most comfortable chairs I’ve ever owned! The seat and back cushions are baffled and channeled so the feathers stay consistent, they are fully reversible, and the fabric is water and stain resistant! It’s the perfect chair for any family!🥰

We are so in love with how this room turned out! The star of the show is definitely our Dogwood engineered hardwood flooring. This is the Sattler White Oak flooring.

Check out my saved story highlights on this room in my profile. I also have a blog post up with all the details on how we installed our floors!

Be sure to like and save this for when you’re ready to install new floors and feel free to drop any questions below!

Have you ever had a project that you thought would only take a day or two but ended up taking WAY longer? (ad)

We started this master bedroom makeover and flooring project the middle of February. I thought it would take one weekend to finish. WRONG! Here we are, a month later, hoping to finish in the next two days!

I have been sooo thankful to have meals in our fridge while I spent days painting and laying down floors! I am the worst about stopping to make lunch or dinner when I’m mid-project and these meals have been perfect! Most heat up in 90-120 seconds and they have lots of meals and snacks to choose from! Help!! Which rug do you prefer in this space? Rug 1 or Rug 2? Let me know in the comments below!👇🏻

Thank you so much for the love on my new slipcover!! I’m not going to lie, I was a little nervous about going to a darker color since it feels like everyone likes the lighter sofas around here. In the end, I decided to get what I knew would be best for us, and as a home with two dogs, a darker color was a must!

Both of these rugs are from ! In fact most of the rugs in my home are from them! They definitely have the most affordable rugs out there! Rug 1 is a washable rug, just toss it in the washing machine to clean. Rug 2 is not. Boutique Rugs is currently having a huge sale right now (ends today!) with 65% off all their rugs when you use the code CW65. Check out the link in my stories to shop!

Which is your favorite Christmas mantle? (Swipe left👈🏻)

The first one is this year’s mantle and is more of a neutral woodland theme to tie in with my tree.

The second one is from last year when I did plaids, wooden accents and nutcrackers.

The last one was from three years ago when I did all green, black and white.

As you can tell, some things stay pretty similar, like the trees on the bottom left (I’m a creature of habit!😂).

Do you switch things up each year or leave it the same?

Oh, the power of paint!!

Sharing pics of our office makeover for those who wanted to see pics that weren’t flying by in a reel.😂 Swipe left 👈🏻for all the before and afters.

My original plan was to paint the top cabinets and the bead board white, but over time, I just felt like the top needed to be blue too. So that left me with the bead board white, but that made it feel too much like a kitchen. Soo, I ended up going all blue. What did you vote for?

Thank you so much for all your support on this project…it kept me from quitting mid-project. And believe me, there were many days I wanted to quit! Painting cabinets is not for the faint of heart, but sooooo worth it! ❤️

(All details on this project is spaced in my story highlights!)

Happy October 1st!🍁

Let’s talk wood signs real quick…

I’ve heard that lettered signs are moving out of home decor. Do you agree? Are you over them or do you still like them?

As you can tell, I’m still loving them!😂 I definitely don’t have as many as I once had, but I love having a few seasonal ones.🥰 Tell me.. how many do you have hanging around right now?
