Once Again, My Dear Irene

Once Again, My Dear Irene A Do-It-Yourself website full of new ideas and projects! Visit us at www.mydearirene.com ! Hi! I’m Angelica!

For the last ten years I’ve been sharing my home projects, cooking, and ideas with my sister Irene. “Once Again, My Dear Irene” is just an extension of our daily chats. Moreover “My Dear Irene” is my way of honoring my Grandmother Irene, whose inspiring love for her home, cooking and hosting, has passed down through the generations to my mother and aunt and then in turn to their daughters. I hope you have as much fun as I do, and that I, will in turn, inspire YOU!

I know that people often convert planting pots into fountains, but years ago, I turned what used to be a 2-tier fountain into these massive planting pots, and I've been filling them with flowers every few months. I found them thrown away in the backyard of the home we used to rent in Calabasas, CA and when I asked the owner if we could have them, he was more than happy to get rid of them. The movers, on the other hand, not so much! (and we've moved 4 times since then!)

These super-easy-to-make Halloween lanterns will surely bring the trick or treaters to your doorstep tonight! Make a few and create a path from the sidewalk to your door!
To make them, you will only need a few white paper bags (big size lunch bags will work too), Halloween paper napkins and flameless candles.
Happy Halloween!!
