I know it's been a while since I've given an update on the school jobs, so here's a little sneak peak at what we've been doing. We're over at a different school right now, then back to the other one once we're done here. Peep the comments to see where this bathroom left off tonight!

Started the next school this week. 3 sets of bathrooms in this one (2 full sets and 1 single bathroom set). Flooring to be done in both schools starting Monday, then we get to start the install of all the new stuff! Can't wait to show you all how these school bathrooms turn out.

Also, you'll have to check the comments for the rest of the videos. Fb is still being weird. 🤦‍♂️

Day 7 of Jeffries Elementary School bathroom rehab. Got most of the backer board up in the women's room. Have 1 full sheet to cut & put around the corner, then pull off the toilet shutoff valves & put board there, then the 4 inch top border. Have to wait for the plumber to come in and extend the plumbing for the sinks & urinals, and then I can put backer there. Should be able to move on to the men's room tomorrow & put backer up everywhere where there's not plumbing that has to be fixed. Lol.

Day 3 update. 2 fresh coats of paint are put on! Backer board being delivered first thing in the morning, so I'll get to start the process of putting that on and then move on to putting the tile on. So excited seeing where this is going, and more excited to get to share this process with all of you!

Okay, so due to delivery being an issue, didn't get the backer board today. So instead, we started the painting. We got the mirrors down, most of the stuff moved to the dumpster, got the sink and urinal shutoff valves replaced, then taken down. Got the holes patched that needed to be patched, and the sink support bars taken out. Started on paint cut-in. Got the men's room done. On to the women's in the morning, then to 1st and 2nd coats of paint. Hopefully by that time the backer board will be in and we can put that up and be ready to tile!

1st of 2 different schools' restroom remodels got started today. How it started, halfway through the day, and end of today (other 2 videos are in the comments since fb wants to be weird right now). Tomorrow will consist of replacing 2 shutoff valves (1 on the sink that is still hanging and 1 on the urinal that's still hanging) and then removing the sink, urinal, and mirrors from the wall, cleaning off the old wax rings, getting the wall partitions to the dumpster, cleaning up the walls, and then prepping walls for paint and tile work. Hopefully be able to start on tile Wednesday morning.

Got the pleasure of building this Deck Roof and installing some gutters for an amazing couple. It tried to give us a hard time, but we straightened it out and they are so excited to be able to sit out on their deck under the shade, as well as walk into their home without rain coming inside.

On a related note, adding gutters to your home will help save your foundation over time. All of that water that runs off your roof has to go somewhere, and without gutters it goes straight down, eroding your foundation. This can lead to cracking and leaking foundations, water damage, cracking drywall, and numerous other costly damages.
