This isn’t just another oak tree.

This is believed to be one of only three trees remaining that were used to help map out the town of Philipsburg many years ago.

Generations have passed beneath its branches, and it continues to stand as a living reminder of our community’s history.

We were recently entrusted with the responsibility of removing the deadwood from this historic giant. That’s not something we take lightly.

As tree professionals, we remove and care for trees every day, but preserving one with this much history carries a special meaning.

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Jake Lesko of Lesko Excavating & Landscaping for reaching out to us and trusting our crew with the care of this remarkable tree. We are truly honored to have been given the opportunity to play a small role in helping preserve a piece of Philipsburg’s history.

Moments like these remind us that our work isn’t always just about trees—sometimes it’s about protecting the stories, memories, and landmarks that have stood for generations.
