This chimney houses a natural gas furnace and water heater. Due to the flue being oversized and having gaps and spaces in the liner the condensation from the flue gasses is bleeding into the chimney basically leaking on the inside causing damage to the chimney. This chimney was just resurfaced with new cement and is already failing! If your heating appliances vent through a masonry chimney with a clay liner a new stainless steel liner is a must!
