Use insulation: Wrap pipes around your well and pump, in crawl spaces, attics, garages, and near exterior walls with pipe insulation. You can also use foam rubber or fiberglass sleeves.

Use heat tape: Wrap pipes with heat tape or thermostatically controlled heat cables.

Use towels: Wrap exposed pipes in heavy towels.

Turn on faucets: Turn on faucets to a trickle to maintain water flow.
