We are so proud to share this recognition of our owner, Julie Burlingame, and her one-year anniversary with Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity.
Julie has always believed that strong communities are built by people who are willing to show up, serve, and do the work — whether that is helping secure homes through Pro Lock Plus or helping build them alongside Habitat volunteers.
Her work with Crystal Coast Habitat, Women Build, homeowners, and the community reflects the same values we try to bring into our business every day: service, reliability, hard work, and care for our neighbors.
Congratulations, Julie, on your one-year anniversary with Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity. We are proud of the impact you continue to make in our community.
Thank you to Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity for the kind words and for the incredible work you do.
One year ago, Julie Burlingame joined Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity, and somewhere along the way became one of those people who can calmly manage a build site while everybody else is still trying to figure out where they set their tape measure.
Over the last year, Julie has worked alongside volunteers, supported homeowners, participated in Women Build, represented Habitat throughout the community, and helped keep projects moving forward in Onslow County with the kind of steady, grounded presence that makes difficult things look a whole lot easier than they probably are.
Julie is also a Marine veteran and was recently recognized as Swansboro’s Woman of the Year, which honestly tracks perfectly once you’ve spent about five minutes around her.
One minute she’s speaking at an event.
The next minute she’s operating power tools in safety glasses.
Then somehow she’s back helping guide volunteers like this is all just a completely normal Tuesday.
We’re incredibly grateful for everything Julie has brought to Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity this past year, and we’re looking forward to celebrating her 1-year anniversary on May 29.
