The technical side of design intimidated me when I first started creating construction drawings. But drawing helped me think through the details- how much space does a linear light need to wash a wall? How does a countertop terminate cleanly?

Now I love the puzzle of it all and understanding how all the pieces need to come together to create a design that not only looks good but can actually be built.
