A quick glimpse into our most recent completed project.

The living room anchored everything - that stone fireplace wall was always going to be the moment. From there it was about building a home that could hold a full life. A movie room the kids would actually want to be in. An office that felt calm enough to actually work in. A bedroom that felt like a proper retreat at the end of the day.

Every room designed around how this family actually lives - not just how it photographs.

Style these shelves with me before an open house.

This is my mother-in-law’s home in York, Maine. It’s already on the market, but I filmed myself styling this shelf wall before it went live and couldn’t let it go to waste.

The shelf wall gets the most attention. It’s the first thing you see walking in and it has to do a lot of work without looking like it’s trying.

A few things I always come back to: start with height, work in odd numbers, and leave space. A shelf that breathes reads as intentional. A shelf that’s full reads as cluttered, even when everything in it is beautiful.

This is the part of the job most people never see, but also one of my favorite parts.
