Yesterday, we celebrated Dads and kicked off the official start of astronomical summer! ☀️🌿

With the Summer Solstice arriving today (the longest day of the year) we think it is safe to say that The Great American Summer is officially here! This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 250 years of American summers, freedom, family, sunshine, and memories still waiting to be made. 🇺🇸

Thank you to everyone who joined our beloved Florida-Friendly Landscaping Program Director, Kate Kaste, for her Right Plant, Right Place seminar. Kate shared the foundation for creating a successful Florida garden by choosing plants that are best suited for each location and how to do so.

We also loved seeing everyone who stopped by to celebrate the dads in their lives while enjoying complimentary hot dogs and a cold beer. It was the perfect way to cool off and enjoy a hot summer Saturday together!

Today, we would like to recognize and congratulate one of our own, Private Carlos Jarquin on his graduation from Army Basic Training!

Many of our customers may remember Carlos Jr. from his years at Canterbury Farms Nursery. Starting with us while still in high school, he spent his holiday and summer breaks learning the business, working hard, and growing into a valued member of our sales team.

Carlos has always demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. Now, he has chosen to take those same qualities and serve something even greater—our country.

Saturday is one of our favorite days at the nursery, and tomorrow is packed with reasons to stop by!
