Digging holes and pouring concrete around posts is a practice that is old-fashioned, outdated, and obsolete. Products built the old-fashioned way are simply built with an inferior level of strength, quality, and longevity. Our fencing products are all constructed using our trademarked PillarPost™ technology and they always include the highest-quality materials. Our PillarPost™ technology is far superior for multiple reasons. Most companies still utilize the outdated and very inferior method of setting wood posts in concrete-filled holes that were dug with an auger. Digging those holes results in major ground disturbance and subsequently makes the posts much less stable. That type of ground disturbance results in instability, ground-shift, and erosion. Additionally, it makes much more of a mess of your property than is necessary. Posts that are punched into the ground by utilizing heavy pressure are set firmly in place within minutes without disturbing the ground around them nearly as much. Additionally, concrete around your posts attracts and retains moisture. It's as if your posts are sitting in a big, porous cup of water. This unwelcome moisture results in rot, rust, and structure failure. Digging holes and setting posts in concrete also requires additional time to allow the concrete to dry and cure. Using the modern technology of our PillarPost™ system, posts are firmly planted into the ground within 2 to 3 minutes and construction can continue immediately.
