Grief is a funny thing. One minute you think you're doing OK, then it slams into you and has you unable to catch your breath.

Getting my hands into the dirt helps calm the waves. Creating something like a planter reminds me that each day we get to start again, and like the plants, we'll go on to see the world in color again.
