Here is a before and after shot of a kitchen just finished in Mission Viejo, as you can see in one of the pictures how the compress board and paint had bubbled, this problem was on quite a few of the doors, after sanding and refilling these areas, a waterborne lacquer Paint was applied. Revive your butcher block table!
This table top was filled with stains from 8 years of use.
1. First we cleaned it with a vinegar/lemon/dish soap solution.
2. Sand with a 100 grit sandpaper to remove stains in wood.
3. Sand with a 220 grit sandpaper
4. Sand with a 400 grit sandpaper to make it smooth.
5. Flood coat with butcher block oil, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe off access.
6.after 6 hrs of first coat drying, apply 2nd flood coat, let sit, then wipe off access.
7. Let dry for 72 hrs before use.

Just finished a job in Hunnington beach, these cabinets previously had a latex finish on them , but the customers wanted a laquer finish for looks and durability, so after much prep work, priming and and sanding, we did the finish coats in a water based laquer, glad to say the customers were very happy with the results, let us revive your cabinets with water based or solvent based laquer finishes.
