Not sure I ever shared my business page with all of you! take a look if you feel so inclined! :)

We've been getting asked a lot about what this WB Refillery is that you keep posting about.

Here's the story:
In 2020, after the pandemic rocked our supply chain and strained our access to food and household goods. We wanted something different, so we converted our home in the middle of town into an urban homestead. We cut out a ton of grass and created garden space. We started growing our own food from seeds. I (Scott) started filming the process of urban homesteading on YouTube as the Broke Urban Farmer. As our interest grew, we explored and dreamed of our own local Market (grocery) in Huntington. This was an expensive dream, so we put it on the back burner and explored other small business options. That's how we became travel agents with Little Palm Travel and started our Perfectly Planned Picnics.

Fast forward to fall 2023, and some financial shifts might make it possible for us to revisit our initial dream of a market in Huntington. So, we began working up our business plan and seeing what we could find in Huntington. Harsh reality hit when every option in town was just too costly (for us), and our financials shifted in the opposite direction. Enter a friend posting about Painted Tree Boutiques - Fort Wayne, IN; a possibility emerged!

While we couldn't start our own shop in Huntington (yet), we can get things started at Painted Tree! We are starting small by supplying sustainable, eco-friendly, low-waste products to Northeast Indiana and adding "refilling" services to our space shortly. It's a small start, but we hope it will allow us to grow into our whole dream realized.

Had the best time at the Indiana Homesteading Conference 2022 and bonus ran into our friends at the Wolterman Homestead make sure to check them out their video is much better! Lol I’m rusty! 😁🤣

Indiana had it’s first homesteading conference and I got to go! We sat in on info sessions, we bought some goodies from vendors, and we ran into our friends ...
