That's me, Jessica, in the back middle wedged in between my wonderful parents. My dad, Bob, to the left and my mom, Angela, to the right. Without them I couldn't do any of this. What is "this" you ask? Here at Morris Mountain Primitives we lovingly hand sew primitive bowl fillers, ornaments and dolls to fill your home with happiness. We also love to go picking to find the coolest, most unique antique/vintage items to add that touch of history to your home. Nothing bring us more joy than bringing happiness and history to your home! I'm a proud West Virginian born and raised in Huntington. Where here on our family farm we create all the wonderful primitives you all love so much. We enjoy doing several local craft/antique shows each year were we love meeting all our fabulous customers. You can also find our items in our booth at Dad's Primitive Workbench in Marietta, OH and always available right here on our page. Plus we are excited to announce the opening of our little cabin here on the farm. All this started out with a trip to our local flea market. I was 18 and just starting to go down the addicting rabbit hole that is antique/primitive collecting. Strapped for money I was always limited to what I could buy. Flashing back to when I was a young girl sewing up my moms comforter got me thinking I might be able to make some of these items on my own. So I got online, bought my first patterns and got to work. Fast forward to 2014 where I had been working at a daycare for several years now but not loving the stress and anxiety it bought me. Also knowing I wanted to be able to spend more time with my parents. I took that love for sewing primitives and my overflowing collection of antiques and so I started Morris Mountain Primitives. A few years later I decided to take a leap of faith to quit my job and now get to spend all my time with my parents.
