It’s spring and the bulbs have been amazing this year. I’m enjoying the hellebores and epimideum too. Come down and enjoy the Amity Garden of Heckscher Park.

Spring is in the air today! You have to look closely but the hellebores, pesimitides, and the daffodils are poking up out of the soil. It won’t be long before the Garden is in bloom!

Grateful for the 10 yards of mulch the town supplied last week. The garden is settling in with beautiful echinacea, sea holly and allium in bloom. Thanks Town of Huntington!

It’s the longest day of the year today! A longer time to enjoy the garden. The Town of Huntington did a great job of adding extra irrigation to garden which is helping the garden grow and the weeds. This Saturday June 26th we will be doing a weeding at 11:30 am. Please join us!

It’s that time if year again. On Sunday May 9th at 11:00 am we will be meeting at the flag pole for some Spring planting! We have a few dozen plant to place in their new home at the Amity Garden.

Here are the first signs of Spring at the Amity Garden At Heckscher Park! We planted over 1200 bulbs last fall so check us out weekly for new growth and new surprises!
