Meet Alberto Guzman! 👋

Alberto has been with Floors By Moore for almost a year, and he's quickly become one of the most valuable people on our team. His attention to detail is second to none. Just look inside his van and you'll find every tool clean and in its place.

That same care shows up in every floor he works on. Alberto is dependable, precise, and takes real pride in getting every detail right. If we're refinishing your hardwood floors, there's a good chance Alberto will be there making sure it's done right.

Thank you, Alberto, for all you do! 🙌

Here’s a little glimpse of the process as we refinish this hardwood floor. I helped my dad install this one back in June of 2003, so it’s really special to be the one bringing it back to life 23 years later. We went with a clear water-based finish.

Thinking about bringing the kids to the showroom? Don’t worry — they can’t tear it up any worse than ours already have. Hardwood, carpet, displays… they’ve tested it all. This is what growing up at Floors By Moore looks like.

We have folks asking whether they should do tile or hardwood in the kitchen. This is my personal house and we are removing the tile and installing 3-1/4 #2 White oak and lacing it into existing hardwood in the adjoining room.
What are your thoughts, what do you prefer? Tile or Hardwood in the kitchen?

When it comes to floating floors, a lot of products out there can look super fake.
For the past few months we’ve been really impressed with the look of Stanton Decorative Laminate. As you can see from this recent install, it has a very natural look — the grain, the color variation, and the way it catches the light all feel closer to real hardwood than most laminates we’ve seen. And it does it at a great price point.
If you’ve been hesitant about laminate because of the “plastic” look some options have, this one is worth a look. We have it in the showroom now.
Stop by or message us and we’ll pull samples for your space.

I would like to introduce to you my dear friend Marco! Marco has worked with us for several years now and he is an absolute craftsman when it comes to re-finishing hardwood floors. Marco is friendly, polite, hardworking, and a lot of fun to be around. If Floors By Moore is re-finishing your hardwood there is a good chance that Marco will be running the job.

We’d like to introduce our baby brother, Cole Moore!
To know him is to love him, he has the best personality out of the whole bunch of us. Cole is our Head Estimator here at Floors By Moore, and he’s the one who comes out to take a careful look at your project, talk through your options, and make sure everything is measured and planned the right way.
He’s a husband and dad of five, and he brings that same family-first mindset to every home he walks into. When Cole’s on the job, you can count on him to be thorough, honest, and Hilarious at the same time.
Next time you’re thinking about new floors, hardwood refinishing, or just have questions, there’s a good chance you’ll get to meet Cole. We’re proud to have him on the team — and we think you’ll feel the same once you get to know him.
Four generations of quality you can stand on.
