Seedling shuffle season is officially here!

I spent time transplanting all of these little fall seedlings into their own packs, and now I’m officially running out of grow-light space. With temperatures still reaching around 100°F+, the cool-season seedlings are getting carried outside early in the morning for a little natural sunshine, then brought back inside before it gets too hot.

I also transplanted 10 trays of heat-loving plants, and thankfully those are much happier staying outside in the shade.

It’s a lot of moving trays around right now, but hopefully all this work will pay off once cooler fall weather finally arrives!

It’s Not Flamingo Feather Celosia… 🌱

A Note to My Ever Berry Gardens Customers

I always strive to provide healthy, quality plants and to be honest with my customers.

Earlier this year, I grew and sold Flamingo Feather Celosia starts from a seed supplier. As the plants have matured, I have discovered that the seeds appear to have been mislabeled by the supplier and may not actually be Flamingo Feather Celosia.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t something I could have known when I sold the young plants. Celosia and related plants look very similar as seedlings, and the difference only became apparent after several months of growth. I have since contacted Amazon, and they have acknowledged my report and escalated the listing for investigation.

If you purchased one of these Flamingo Feather Celosia starts from Ever Berry Gardens, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

For those who came by Ever Berry Gardens to purchase plants this spring, you may remember seeing the glasshouse being built and the empty garden beds through the gate.

We wanted to share a little update on how everything looks as of today. The gardens are still growing in and we still have a few finishing touches left to complete, but it has come such a long way over the past few months.

It has been so special watching this space slowly come to life with flowers, reclaimed windows, climbing vines, and all the little details we dreamed about during the winter while it was still just an idea.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our small nursery and creative projects along the way.

First time growing snapdragons from seed.
Started indoors in January, transplanted in March, and now finally blooming. Watching something grow from a tiny seed into these beautiful flowers is so rewarding.
