Chickens grow rapidly; in just their first week, baby chicks grow roughly 50% larger than when they hatched. They will begin shedding their soft down for real feathers and will already be able to jump and flutter around.

Got the chics fed, the animals in and the babies resting, its time for dad to lay down for the night so I can get up and start again thank you HOWARD be thy name for a wonderful day and may you continue bringing my family the joys and splendors nature has to offer....
