So this happened...

Houzz reached out to us for an article on a beautiful project for a great family that we completed last year.

I hadn't even seen the professional photos until now and can't believe how well they capture how great the place looks in person.

Just received some gorgeous professional photography from John Gruen.

The amazing part is while it looks great in these photos it looks even better in person.

The pool house/garage on the left was new construction and the house in the background was completely renovated including adding additional living space.

A beautiful project in a beautiful area, for great clients in the village of Rhinebeck, NY

A total effort, we are all very proud of the design, craftsmanship, and sheer effort that went into making this a dream home, even more so - during the pandemic.

Dutchess Overhead Doors] Absolute Perfection on this Rhinebeck pool house! knocked it out of the park every step of the way and really paid attention to the details both seen and unseen. helps make our jobs go smoothly with a highly customizable product that sacrifices nothing! Too often in construction small details go unmentioned in the beginning that detract from the final product, and this was never the case on this one.

We get to work on, and be a part of, some amazing stuff when our in house design team is involved. Boring and easy are seemingly not terms they are aware of.

While we are well aware this light may not be your cup of tea, it most definitely is our clients, and def in our wheelhouse of creativity.

a LOT of planning when into this stunningly simple looking light fixture. Bravo to our electrician (Not on IG), as we all saw how excruciating this was to get exactly right. Not only that, HE brought our crew bagels...!

We don't just build custom homes and renovate homes, we can design and fabricate or have fabricated everything for the inside or outside as well.

We had our holiday dinner last night! Kathryn and I had a great time with and their families.

Huge thank you to everyone who has worked with us during 2021! Our team, as usual, has been the best part of the year !

These things just keep getting better and better ! I'm looking forward to the summer dinner already.

Remember this place? Sneak peak of how one tiny piece of this whole house refresh has turned out. This was the project where we removed one bearing wall, opened up another, and tore down a chimney to open up a cramped kitchen.. Should be complete this week, minus the myriad of backordered small items.. (you all know exactly what I am talking about at this point in the screwed supply chain)

It seems we get around to having Pro photos taken about 2 years after we finish our projects so hang in there...🙄

We can tell you it turned out gorgeous..our opinion, and the clients. I know, I know...pictures are worth a thousand words. We will get to it.. check back with us in like 2023(ish)

In our humble opinion, there is absolutely nothing as beautiful as a kitchen designed by architects and designers from within the same office. But we are biased 🌝

Spectacular redesign of what was previously a cramped, dark and dated kitchen.

After doing our best to straighten out the more than three inch out of whack floors, leveling the ceiling that was out by an equal amount, opening it up with a steel beam, and then weaving in an insane amount of wood flooring (most of that has been seen in previous posts), we began the cabinet install.

Next up is the beautiful countertops, to be fabricated and installed by

Hint, You've seen some of the before pics - I got called out for posting other people's sh*tty work.. from the DMs I received, I get some of you like them, some of you don't. I'm on the fence about it now.. I see both sides.
