sometimes I think about how different my life would be if I let being sick stop me from doing everything I wanted to do.

I’ve missed plans, spent days in bed, cried because my body wouldn’t cooperate and had so many moments where it felt easier to just stop trying.

but I didn’t.

and now I look back at all the places I’ve been, people I’ve met, things I’ve done and memories I’ve made and realize I would’ve missed ALL of it.

I’m still sick. I still have bad days. I just stopped waiting to feel better to start living my life 💛🎗️

Some days your diagnosis might feel like it takes up your entire world. The appointments, the pain, the medications, the exhaustion, the uncertainty… it can be a lot. But there is SO much more to you than the things your body puts you through.

Your diagnosis is a part of your story, but it will never be the whole story. Never forget how much life there is outside of it. 💛🎗️
