You may have noticed that we're including a "DONATE" button on our posts. We introduced this earlier this week.
The purpose of this post is to assure you that you can control who sees that you've donated.
The default when you hit the "DONATE" button allows everyone, both on and off of Facebook, to see that you've donated. You can choose who sees that you've donated!
If you click on the "Public" button a drop down opens where you can choose between Public, All Friends, All Friends except certain friends, or No Friends Except those friends you choose. If you choose one of last two options, it will bring up a list of your friends you can choose from.
Also, the box at the top of the donate page allows you to check it or leave it blank. If you check it, you'll agree to cover the small service fee PayPal requires for administering this fundraising program for Facebook. If you leave it blank, we'll be the one to cover this small service fee. DON'T LET THIS AFFECT WHETHER YOU DONATE. We'll be glad to cover this fee for you if it's a deal breaker.
Remember, anything you donate goes only to purchase the supplies we use to help those who connect with our ministry. No amount is too small. If you can only afford $1 a month, God will honor that gift and we'll greatly appreciate it!
There may be other ways coming, in the future, to donate to Built For Jesus. We'll keep you in the loop as things progress.
