Day 5: ready for plaster. We usually start plastering on day 5 or 6. This one was a little more involved since we removed the master closet wall and moved it over to expand the closet. Removed the linen closet in the bathroom and added a shower in it's place. The original bathroom had a huge whirlpool bath tub but no shower. We also cut in two medicine cabinets on the vanity wall and needed to relocate some plumbing and electrical that was in the way. Day 6 we will sand the ceilings down in the bathroom and closet, plaster everything and skim coat the shower / install the pan and curb.

The first 5-6 days of a typical master bathroom remodel. Monday (yesterday) we completed the demolition of the bathroom and closet. Tuesday / Wednesday is plumbing, electrical, framing and hvac if needed. Thursday / Friday hang greenboards / Kerdi board in the shower. Monday we begin the plaster work / shower waterproofing.
Most bathrooms take around 2-3 weeks to complete. A master bathroom this size takes 4 weeks.
