Our plant celebrated a major milestone by officially cutting the ribbon on our free, on-site health clinic for team members and their families. This clinic reflects who we are—a team that takes care of each other.

Designed for convenience and quality care at no cost, the clinic supports preventive visits, chronic condition management, and easy access for spouses and dependents. It’s more than a benefit—it’s a commitment to our people.

Home to over 200 skilled team members who craft premium Medallion cabinetry and earning the 2024 Plant of the Year award, our plant now has a resource that strengthens both our team and their families, helping us maintain the excellence we bring to our work every day.

The ribbon-cutting brought together Cabinetworks leaders, local officials—including Mayor Kate Swarzler and City Manager Kenna West—and our Independence team. It was a day filled with pride, excitement, and a reminder that investing in our people is investing in our future.

Come and play a part in building cabinets, working with team members using tools and equipment (drills, nail guns, etc.), and learning more knowledge about the production field!!

We want you to be able to:

Read production paperwork specifications

Maintain production and quality standards

Follow all safety rules and work instructions; Employer provides PPE

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read a tape measure and use it effectively

Team player

Communication skills

Excellent work ethics

Willing and able to work overtime as needed

Physical Demands:

MEDIUM - Exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Ability to stand and move body (twisting, pushing, pulling) for most of the day.

NOISE - Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds.

EQUIPMENT USED – Includes air-powered tools (sanders, drills, nail & staple guns) and other power tools (portable sanders, saws, drills, etc.).
