PLEASE COME JOIN US... At the Platinum Coast Orchid Society show & sale, this Friday 5/1 9-5, Saturday 5/2 9-5, and Sunday 5/3 9-4, at Kiwanis Island in Merritt Island, Florida. We will be outside in our usual space. The Orchid show admission is $8.00 for a fantastic show - we are outside and it is free to come and see us 🙂 We will have a huge selection of plumeria, seeds, seedlings, and plumeria related items. Just a FYI check your plumeria branches real close when cutting off freeze damage.

The tree may be self healing and creating a termination line where the rot is stopping and new branches are starting to grow out the leaf nodes below. Pictured is a freeze damaged three tip branch with a termination line and new growth indicated with arrow. You can cut off the very top portion above the termination line if you wish. We usually just keep a eye on this and most likely the top portion will dry up and drop off naturally on its own.
