This is a little nerdy BUT… did you know that interacting with house plants can boost your serotonin levels? I recently learned these interactions directly influence the production of special proteins, called cytokines. These guys do a ton of great things for the body but one thing they lead to is more serotonin!
Personally, I’ve felt the positive impact of keeping house plants for years, especially in the winter, when my adhd and depression seem to be the worst. If I ever get over my camera shyness, I’ll post whole video on plant effects on neurology/psychology. But until then enjoy some colorful foliage 🌞
