🌸 Moments in May was filled with celebration, remembrance, and community spirit.

💐 Residents enjoyed a beautiful Mother’s Day Tea filled with sweet treats, laughter, and special memories honoring the amazing mothers in our community.

🏇 Excitement continued with Derby festivities where everyone dressed in their best hats and enjoyed fun games, racing traditions, and friendly competition. 👒

🏎️ 🏁 As the month went on, we proudly celebrated the spirit of Indianapolis with Indy 500 activities and the excitement of the Indy 500 Parade. Residents shared memories, enjoyed themed events, and joined in the citywide tradition leading up to race day.

🇺🇸 We also took time to honor and remember our heroes during Memorial Day through reflection, gratitude, and patriotic celebration.

May was truly a month full of joy, connection, tradition, and unforgettable moments together. 😊

WTHR-TV came to Westside Garden Plaza during our Indy 500 Celebration and interviewed Jerry Hofmockel related to his 100th birthday 🥳 and his attendance this year at the Indy 500. 🏎️ It will be his 86th time at the race! Check out the video below!

Jerry Hofmockel went to his first Indy 500 in 1936 with his grandfather when he was just 10 years old.
