Due to no fault of his own, Judas finds himself back available- the buyer had a few financial situations pop up.

Judas is a very sweet buck who will stand his ground with the other bucks- he’s not a bully though. He has greatly improved rumps and front ends from the handful of kids we’ve seen this kidding season.

Wow oh wow

Summer shindig day 2 was amazing!!
We had some amazing moments!

I’m so excited to see the yearlings mature more next year! They each made top 6 in a ring or two!
Lacey and Ivy didn’t fill 😭😭
Poppy acted like a jr kid and placed middle of the pack at 6th in all 3 rings- she was actually overfilled and I really messed up her shave job 😅

And then Zenyatta of course with with her grand champion just blew me away!

We also got our ladies unofficially classified with AGS

I’m still in shock and awe…
Funny story:
Zenyatta was NOT supposed to have showed today… I hadn’t signed her up, I barely allowed her to fill, but brought her for the AGS classification. And that was still the plan last night as I went to bed in the barn. However, when I woke up, I truly don’t know how, but Zenyatta had the best fill she’s ever had and I quickly asked at check ins if I could add her. And thennnn I after ring 1 and her not placing as high as I had hoped, I had thought about scratching her (more just due to already being tired and overstimulated), a wonderful friend stepped in asking if I’d like some help.

Cheers to my first finished champion!! EEEEEEKKKKKKKKK!!
She also had Ring 2’s best udder!!

Summer shin dig day 1!
No ribbons today- but that’s okay! We got to see our friends and siblings to our goats win some!!

Today was juniors day!
Some notable placings:

Wisteria way TT princess peach - 4th in ring 3

Wisteria way HN Calamity Jane - 4th in ring 2

Int:
Wisteria way DH Cruise 2 Capri- 5th in ring 1 and 2, 8th ring 3- OUT OF 26 or 27 int kids!!

Wisteria way F Legend of Zelda- 9th ring 1 and 11th ring 2!! (Again out of a huge class!!)

Sr:
Wisteria Way HN FrenchSnowBird was entered into just the 3rd ring (Nigerian specialty) where she again snagged a 1st place!! But no ribbons for her as our friends Swisher Hill Farm snagged it with their jr kid!!! (Our Zarah’s littermate!!!!)

Congratulations to everyone!! Now hopefully I get some sleep (in the barn) for Milkers tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻
