From pencil to paper drafting plans, helping with selections along the way and spending almost a year together, each home project brings joy helping client’s visions take shape, but also huge challenges that my hardworking husband can ALWAYS solve and build with unmatched quality!

I may not be like most designers when I work side by side with the contractors and get caught on 95 degree days using a bale of straw for a desk in a hot garage 😰 but when you’re working for amazing people, you do whatever it takes to get the job done! The weather hasn’t allowed every little detail to be finished, but our new friend is in her new home, and the only thing better than the feeling of accomplishment when you see all the elements come together is how God blesses with lifelong friendships in the process 🙏🏼❤️

What a blessing when you get to design a job that’s as lovely as the new friends you make in the process 💖 this whole house gut job and addition will be a perfect place for this young family to grow and make a lifetime of memories in their new forever home 😍

Will never forget the stunning details and challenges that went into this incredible design/build project in Victoria Estates. Working with the BEST builder out there, a stair & metal inlay fabricator whose talent is unmatched, tile installers who can make my designs work, a lighting supplier who has all the answers, woodwork, cabinets and tops that WOW, all working hand in hand with us to knock our designs out of the park. Never got pics that show the detail of the completed open and screened patios and hardscape features but they created a phenomenal oasis for this wonderful family.

New construction is the usual, but who wouldn't love an opportunity to help a client transform the overcrowded and outdated kitchen/dining areas of their 100 year old home into rooms they tell you they're "obsessed with and can now hang out and entertain in"?! The days measuring, remeasuring, sketching several floor plan options and elevations for them to choose from, figuring out how and where to add beams, then months executing their plan with the most skilled and quality conscious contractor you'll ever meet Jeff Lancaster, Exquisite Homes got stressful and ugly (plaster and sagging ceiling joists - eek) at times, but the end product and ecstatic clients made it worth it! Finding, creating and then adding the finishing design touches is always a bonus! Seeing some before and during pictures gives a small glimpse of our kind of "fun".
