Follow one client's journey: from level 5 clutter that made plumbing repairs impossible, to a comfortable and safe home.
The average rapid home clean-out for a hoarding situation costs $4,000 to $6,000. This type of cleanout is usually mandated by the health department or done by the client's family against their will. The person who owns that home is often devastated by the process and it usually becomes hoarded again.
There is a better way. My coaching method of working one to one with the client to clear out their own clutter while they make all of the decisions, has been uniquely successful.
The cost is approximately the same, but we work slowly in 2 to 3 hour time blocks for as long as it takes to complete. My clients feel in control and develop self confidence in their ability to conquer their clutter.
