Sometimes you have to modify the tool to improve your results. Yesterday evening, I worked for longer than I'd like to admit trying to sand the edges of a wood project to the wife.
This evening I modified the table on the drill press to hold the 5'+ mdf so that I could focus on the sanding drum as it ground away the wood. And I must say, with much better results.
Let the tools do the work!!
