McPherson County several years ago purchased the Bank of America building in the heart of the city of McPherson, KS, which is adjacent to the historic McPherson County Courthouse. The old Courthouse building had become crowded in many departments and needed more space for daily work as well as record storage. Fuqua Construction, Inc was hired as the Design Builder for the renovation and remodel of the 32,000 square foot old Bank Building. All floors were involved in the renovation project. This building now houses the County’s Motor Vehicle, Treasurer, County Clerk, Deeds, Zoning, Mapping, Appraiser and Maintenance departments and County Administrator offices. There is also a large conference room located within the building, as well as an updated McPherson County Commissioners meeting room. Fuqua Construction, Inc., was honored to be the general contractor for the new McPherson County Building. We would also like to thank Landmark Architects for once again partnering with us on yet another successful project.
