Tonight I got to get some of the best advice I ever gotten. Vincent J. Speranza was out guest of honor and I got to ask him a question. It wasn’t about the war. I asked Vince “ I just started coaching, and as an educator, and I would like to know how I can relate to different children from different backgrounds? “ and he told me “ Tell them the truth. When you tell them the truth, you earn their trust. The moment you feed them bu****it is when they don’t trust you anymore.” life is all about the truth. People want to feed you BS and lies to lead you astray. Thank you Vince for the wise words, and thank you for your service in WWII, from the battle of Bastogne and beyond. You truly are the greatest generation.

Temps are dropping into the low 20’s this weekend and we will finally get a cold Christmas ❄️🎅

Every store I went to was out of frost cloth. So as an expert engineer, I improvised! Blue tarps to the rescue!

Also made sure to cover the citrus trees as I don’t want to lose any branches. Make sure to keep your gardens safe from the freeze!
