🚨 Black Bull Landscapes is Hiring – Maintenance Crew Leader 🚨

We’re looking for a dependable and experienced person to help lead and manage part of our lawn care and landscape maintenance division.

This is NOT an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, stay organized, communicate professionally, and help keep properties operating at a high standard without constant supervision.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing mowing and maintenance routes
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently
• Attention to detail on high-end residential properties
• Identifying property issues proactively
• Helping lead and coordinate smaller crews when needed
• Maintaining professionalism with clients onsite

Experience with:
✔ Commercial & residential mowing
✔ Trimming, edging, and blow-offs
✔ Basic irrigation knowledge
✔ Trailer and equipment operation
✔ Landscape maintenance and cleanup work

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.

We’re a growing design-build landscaping company focused on quality work, professionalism, and long-term growth.

📍 Competitive pay: approx. $28–$38/hr depending on experience

Landscape lighting isn’t just about putting lights in the ground.

There are a few things that make the difference between “random lights” and a well-designed system:

• Placement – Lights should guide movement and highlight focal points, not blind you.
• Beam angle – Narrow beams for trees or columns, wider beams for walkways.
• Color temperature – Warm white (around 2700–3000K) keeps the space natural and inviting.
• Layering – Path lights, accent lights, and wall lighting should work together.
• Drainage awareness – Fixtures need to be placed where water won’t pool.

When done right, lighting adds safety, depth, and texture without overpowering the space.

It’s one of the most overlooked upgrades in residential landscaping — but it makes a big difference after sunset.
