What a difference a walkway makes!

We replaced an informal stepping-stone path with Belgard Origins 12 pavers, creating a smooth, welcoming connection to the existing patio. With guests of all ages coming and going, the new walkway makes getting around easier while blending beautifully into the existing landscape.

A pretty great before + after on this one. 🙂

We removed the old patio and opened up the space with a much larger paver patio, new planting beds, boulders and a few pieces incorporated from the existing landscape.

The patio was designed with plenty of room for a hot tub (coming soon!) and portable sauna, and we even set the conduit ahead of time for the electrician. Hot tub timing should be just about perfect for those cooler fall nights. 🍂

Love how the curved edge and dark border came together. Now this family has a space that really works for how they want to use their backyard.

A little behind the scenes on a recent patio build.

Bedding sand is down and the pavers are going in. Belgard Origins in Ashwood with a Midnight border, lots of cuts, and a curved edge to soften the patio into the surrounding yard.

After the loss of several mature ash trees, this once-wooded garden needed a new direction. We cleared the hillside and started fresh, working with the existing Black Walnut and terrain to bring some of that woodland character back.

We reused and divided healthy existing hostas to help fill the large garden, then added new trees, layered plantings and additional boulders to create a landscape that feels at home in its setting. 🌿

Removing an overgrown hedge opened up the front entrance and made room for bird-friendly Standing Ovation serviceberries and the cutest columnar Swiss stone pine.

My favorite detail? Sneaking in a Shasta daisy to honor the homeowners’ dog’s namesake. ❤️

I’m pretty sure this landscape is going to be even prettier in five years than it is today.
