Come support a great organization on May 17th! A portion of our sales will go towards the Global Food Project. They will be selling vegetable starts to raise funds as well. The Global Food Project helps build community for new residents in the Iowa City area and allows them to produce their own food. Supporting small farms, community building, and caring for our land are all tied together. Hope to see you there!

We are slowly emerging from hibernation and getting seeds started! We have a rough plant list for this year but as always will update it before sales. This will certainly be our biggest year yet for plant production and would not be possible without all of the support from our community❤️ Trying out a few new species and hoping to add to this list before our first sale. We will update in the next 2 weeks for ordering online, plug orders, and spring sale dates.

Our plants are caterpillar-approved!

We do not use herbicides or pesticides in our greenhouse or growing spaces, and sometimes it shows! Some of our plants may have imperfections from insect damage, but we grow these plants to help create habitat for native animals and insects in the first place. This summer we have rehomed over 200 monarch caterpillars that hatched on our milkweed and continue to find dozens every week. We plan to have some tomorrow at our sale - come see our fall plant offerings and take home a monarch caterpillar - while supplies last 🐛
