This cookie is part of my childhood. As little kids, we used to visit our Grandparents who lived in a small village.

There was food in abundance. My sister and I used to watch cookies and dessert being prepared and baked. As all children do, we loved the desserts on the table the most. And that is what got me interested. The Chocolate Walnut Delight which was made by our cousin, is the one that DELIGHTED us. Soon enough, with our Mother’s help we learned how to prepare it. The Delight was always present on our h

oliday celebrations, family gatherings, and even with just a cup of coffee or tea in the afternoon. It was great for all occasions. After the life-changing decision to move to the USA, I was afraid that these scents from my childhood and the memories of this cookie would vanish. Here I am today reliving those moments and sharing them with you through this one unique cookie. Hope you enjoy them!!!
