Each year, Pantone analyzes global trends across design, fashion, interiors, art, and culture to select a color that reflects where we are and where we’re headed. That’s why this announcement matters so much in design-driven fields—it often sets the tone for what we’ll see influencing materials, finishes, and overall aesthetics in the year ahead.

At first, I’ll admit I was a little let down. A white felt almost too easy, and I was expecting something more vibrant or bold. But the more I sit with it, the more I appreciate it. A warm white like Cloud Dancer is timeless, calming, and incredibly versatile. It invites you to slow down and focus on what really grounds a space—texture, metals, natural materials, and thoughtful contrast. Sometimes the quiet choices make the strongest statement.
