This full basement remodel is a perfect example of how you can completely change the experience of a space without reinventing the entire layout. The basement started out dark, dated, and holding moisture, it didn’t feel comfortable or usable. We focused on brightening it up, cleaning up the finishes, and adding the kind of function that makes the space feel finished and inviting.

Scope of Work Completed

• Clean out, prep, and moisture mitigation steps as needed to support a healthier space
• Fresh paint throughout to brighten and unify the basement
• Updated flooring throughout for a clean, cohesive finish
• Added recessed lighting to eliminate dark areas and modernize the feel
• Updated trim and baseboards for a crisp, finished look
• Basement bathroom remodel, new shower, vanity, fixtures, and updated flooring
• Landing and stairs fully revamped for a cleaner, more polished transition
• Spare room entrance changed for improved flow and function
• Added additional closet storage space in the spare room for better organization
• Existing built-in bookshelves were kept, cleaned up, and painted for a refreshed look

This bathroom may be small and quaint, but it’s the perfect example of how a thoughtful remodel can completely refresh a home without going over budget. The shower surround had been updated by a previous contractor years ago, so our team stepped in to elevate the rest of the space with a clean, modern finish.
