Vanity, toilet and shower-to-linen closet.
First experience with ready-to-assemble cabinets. the vanity was manageable, as it was 3 separate pieces. the linen closet was a struggle, not gonna lie. the bottom unit is 53" tall, 33" wide and 24" deep, heavy as heck. getting it up the stairs and into the room was an event. Client helped get the upper cabinet up on top.
I didn't get a close up pic of the countertop, but it has subtle beige marbling and is quite lovely. the light fixtures also have a marbled look.

removed the whirlpool bath tub. that structure would have survived the apocalypse. it was in there with a couple pounds of 3 1/2" nails.

installed drywall. this wall gently undulates. mudding it up and smoothing it down to get a passable flat looks was taxing.

here are some of yesterday's shenanigans.
shower hardware installed.
tub filled assembled and installation attempted but the water supply lines are too long so it was disassembled and put away until that can be dealt with.
needed a bigger hole for the tub drain fl**ge, so modified that and cemented the fl**ge in.
shaving ledge installed.
at the last minute the client and I decided to get the tub into the bathroom. not installed, just into the area, out of the garage. it's 100lbs so it was an effort. got to the bedroom doorway and it wouldn't fit through. need to take the door off. that's a chore for another day, lol.

setting tile is a pretty zen activity. cutting it isn't , lol, but setting it is.
I'm pretty delighted with the curb. the uniformity of the wall lay out makes me happy too.
getting there...

the prep seems to take forever and then it all comes together semi-quickly at the end.
floor went in day before yesterday, feature wall 2 days prior to that.
today the shower floor and drain go in, and I do the final sand on all the drywall, then paint it with sealer.
in between all that there will be several trips up and down the stairs carrying down trash and/or items I am done using.
Tomorrow is tiling the shower walls. fingers crossed I can get it done in a single day.
