A water leak caused a lot of lumpy and hu**ed up subfloor. Chances are if your home has or had particleboard or presswood subfloors, then you know what I’m talking about. You’ve probably experienced this same issue. So we pulled the carpet and tack strip, and removed the layer of particleboard in the bathroom, hallway, and master bathroom and master bedroom. Then we pulled the carpet from the rest of the house and replaced it all with beautiful, premium vinyl plank flooring and quarter round trim throughout the home. Improper water diversion due to a “shortcut” someone took in the past caused a whole lot of damage as time progressed. And because it was going down behind the vinyl siding, it wasn’t noticeable until it was a huge problem. Fortunately for this homeowner, it wasn’t noticeable until not too big a job for us!!! We helped them with the insurance company, and made this home look brand new again!!! We opened it all up, removed all the rot, put new wood back in its place, and installed vinyl siding on both the repaired wall, and the addition that didn’t match. We also removet the column on the front porch and made it a cedar wrapped post! Also added a little cedar trim. Now they have a happy and beautiful home to go on the market.
