Mechanic tip of the week...
Heater core - a small, radiator-like heat exchanger located inside a vehicle's dashboard that uses hot engine coolant to provide heat to the cabin and defrost windows.
Use the proper coolant and have your engine coolant flushed at least 1-2 years to prevent corrosion & clogging.
Heater core replacement is a very extensive job which takes precision such as airbags removal and steering wheel/column removal on most vehicles.
