Hey there plant people! We are no longer Plants With A Purpose! We have changed to Pachyfolia Plants! I know its a funny name but it is fitting choice considering it means "Chunky Leaves" and I am bringing in lots of new cacti and succulents from all over the globe!

Hello! My name is Mike Morris!
So if you were not aware, Plants With A Purpose has been closed. We closed at the end of 2023.
Beginning in January, I opened up Pachyfolia Plants with the help of a close friend but otherwise solo.
Everything is set up now and ready to go with the exception of some organization and cleaning.
We are currently having sales here at the garden on Saturdays from 9-3 and after daylight savings ends, 8-3. We set up events on our page so you can always know where we will be and when we will be open.
Stop by and check us out! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

The spaghetti cactus (Rhipsalis baccifera). Unfortunately the green “noodles” are not a culinary staple... lol! But they are an excellent aesthetic staple! Kinda looks like a green Cousin It when it gets large with its long slender stems!🤣 “It” (LOL) does well in part sun and in nature grows as an epiphyte in trees or rocks. It is native to Central America, the Caribbean, and Southern Florida. It is sometimes called the mistletoe cactus along with other species of Rhipsalis because it grows small pearly translucent fruits on the stems. Each fruit contains about 10-20 seeds and it loaded with an interesting mucilaginous goo.
