June is National Safety Month, and this week we are highlighting Promoting Holistic Worker Health and the importance of staying mentally and physically prepared for the job. In construction, showing up ready each day goes beyond the work itself. It means taking care of your physical health, making time to reset, and finding balance outside of work so you can bring your best to the week ahead.

We asked our team: What helps you stay mentally and physically prepared for the job?

From exercise and outdoor activities to quality time with family and hobbies that help recharge, the responses in this video are a reminder that healthy habits outside of work can help us stay focused, prepared, and ready to work safely.

This past May, in honor of Military Appreciation Month, our company proudly came together for a company-wide donation drive supporting the 5 STAR Veterans Center Passport to Independence program.

A huge thank you to all of our offices and employees who participated in our “Serving Those Who Serve” donation drive. Because of your generosity, we collected an incredible amount of essential items to support veterans on their journey toward independence.

This team truly packed a punch for our veterans, and the photos say it all! Thank you for helping us make a meaningful impact together.

June is National Safety Month, and throughout the month, we are highlighting weekly themes focused on strengthening our safety culture both on and off the job site.

This week, we are focusing on Staying Safe on the Roads and the habits that help keep our employees safe as they travel between job sites, customers, and suppliers throughout the day.

We asked our team: How do you stay alert and safe during long days on the road?

For many of our employees, driving across town is part of the workday. Their responses are a reminder that staying focused, aware of your surroundings, and practicing safe habits behind the wheel helps keep everyone safe.

June is National Safety Month, a time to reflect on how far we’ve come and recommit to where we’re going.

Throughout the month, we’ll be highlighting weekly themes centered on strengthening our safety culture and keeping safety moving forward, together.

We’re kicking off Week 1 with Moving Safety Forward by asking our team: How has safety changed over the course of your career?

The reflections shared in this video are a reminder that progress happens through continuous learning, higher standards, and looking out for one another every day. Every improvement matters, and every person plays a role in creating safer job sites.

Join us throughout June as we spotlight a new safety theme each week and continue building a stronger culture of safety.

Throughout April, our Jacksonville teams had an incredible time visiting Sidewalk Ministries sites and introducing kids to exciting careers in construction!

From learning how HVAC control systems work and how they impact the spaces we use every day, to getting an up-close experience with a real crane and crane operator, the kids got hands-on exposure to the industry in a big way. They even learned how to signal crane operators and had the chance to practice themselves!

We’re proud to support Sidewalk Ministries Jacksonville and their amazing mission of mentoring, encouraging, and sharing God’s word with youth throughout the Jacksonville community as they grow and discover their path in life.

A small thank-you to the people who make a big difference every day!

This week, we had the opportunity to drop off Chick-fil-A for the amazing teachers and staff at Central Riverside Elementary School during Teacher Appreciation Week. We’re grateful for educators who pour so much into our community and the next generation.

Thank you to all teachers for the care, patience, and encouragement you give every single day!

National Construction Safety Week is a great reminder to pause, reset, and strengthen how we manage risk together across our jobsites.

This year’s themes—Recognize, Respond, and Respect—highlight the impact of staying aware, working together, and holding each other accountable to prevent serious incidents before they happen and as conditions change.

Throughout the week, our teams are taking time to step back, refresh how we identify hazards, and reinforce the practices that keep safety front and center. It’s all about looking out for one another and leading by example on every job, every day.
