Have you ever thought about it ❤️
When you are alone and have a heart attack. What are you gonna do then ?
A rarely good post that can't be shared often enough:
1.
Take a 2 minute break and read this:
Let's say it's 5:25 pm and you're driving home after an unusually hard day's work.
2.
You are really tired and frustrated.
All of a sudden your chest pains. They are starting to radiate in the arm and jaw. It feels like being stabbed in the chest and heart. You're only a few miles away from the nearest hospital or home.
3.
Unfortunately you don't know if you can make it..
4.
Maybe you've taken CPR training, but the person running the course hasn't told you how to help yourself.
5.
How do you survive a heart attack when you're alone when it happens? A person who is feeling weak and whose heart is beating hard has only about 10 seconds before losing consciousness.
6.
But you can help yourself by coughing repeatedly and very strongly! Deep breaths before every cough. Coughing should be repeated every second until you arrive at the hospital or until your heart starts to beat normally.
7.
Deep breathing gives oxygen to your lungs and coughing movements boost the heart and blood circulation. Heart pressure also helps to restore a normal heartbeat. Here's how cardiac arrest victims can make it to the hospital for the right treatment
8.
Cardiologists say if someone gets this message and passes it on to 10 people, we can expect to save at least one life.
9. FOR WOMEN: You should know that women have additional and different symptoms. Rarely have crushing chest pain or pain in the arms. Often have indigestion and tightness across the back at the bra line plus sudden fatigue.

So this is a post about the appreciation of the trades and how important they are with all the wants and desires in this world.

Basically this is it;
Humble yourself to ask if you don’t know, or even if all your peers are clueless.
Perform at the level you would for yourself. Period!!!
Remember you are maybe not the first in a new endeavor.
They are all different!
It’s how you show up!
Work to find answers.
You might find there are some before you…that have learned those answers…and “Wow”what would happen if you had a conversation face to face!🤣 (Come on old guys share your journey)
Complete it, to make it what was desired.
The money in this is the problem.
Not for the quick fix, but more about the long term goal. I see people paying over half a million for a home that would likely be best mowed down. Molestation of properties is real!
People who bought them to make money and not looking for anything more…let the home suffer. I know first hand experience.
If you want to save your money.
Don’t have multiple homes.
Give the people in the area a chance to live and service the community. That’s why it’s desirable right! Cool people who love what it has, even if it’s not cheep!
The desire to do great work and get the volumes of respect and happy people is the goal.
Quick fixes and over night service won’t serve all the dollars you can throw at it.
Eventually someone will pay for the lack of knowledge or cheep fix…better yet..your children left with a disaster.

The desire is to do the “ Best Damn Job”
Show up and do what you said you would!

It will be hard….
Duh it’s called work!
I’m grateful right now…
Had a potential problem, through connections and truth and respect they are now gone!

I once met a teacher that was truly a gift from God.
When I was a teen there was,well let’s just say “A lot” going on! 35 years or so ago.
So we got reconnected recently by my School Nurse in high school.
I got to with visit her recently. She had these awesome chairs. They needed some love. Pay it forward perhaps, maybe just super grateful for her and her families support during hard times.

Did a job for a client this week that was kinda more than expected. Old house😏
In meeting them, I saw how much they “Show Up” in our community.
I felt good helping them and taking a bit less $ for the work.
Simply put…they make our community better.
