An excerpt from amazingly talented artist .rieb_ who is coming back for another training next week!
“I’ve been a decorative artist for 25+ years. Creating amazing painted surfaces with a multitude of different materials. I get excited when there’s something new to learn and I will invest my time and money on the right instructors and quality products! When I heard about Liquid Metals it was instant LOVE! I searched around familiarizing myself with the ways it could be used and who was teaching it. For me this wasn’t just about, “can I sell this”? It was more about “will this add value to my client’s projects and the designers I work for and can I create unique things with it”? Not many artists can offer this so I decided I HAD TO LEARN. I chose a studio called Artistic Finishes in Jacksonville FL to teach me. Jeremiah is an extremely talented artist/craftsman and it turns out, he’s a great teacher too! After taking his class I have a better understanding of the product, how to use it properly, where it’s best suitable and how to make presentable samples for my portfolio. I can’t wait to put these new skills to work! I have a few things in the schedule already! I enjoyed working at Artistic Finishes so much that I decided to head back to Florida and take more in depth classes on other products Jeremiah teaches. Primarily a variety of plaster finishes. Investing in your artistic ability is a huge part of being successful. Especially if you’re in it for the long haul. It’s important to keep up with cutting edge trends and the most traditional finishes. Stay tuned for what I have to show everyone after class.
