It’s 88 and thunderstorming. My household chores, food prep and a dessert made for dinner are complete. Since I can’t go swim, porch sitting and a good book is a fine alternative.

When you receive lots of zucchini in the farm box, you make zucchini fritters.
zucchini
feta
fresh parsley
eggs
a bit of flour
salt and pepper
onion

Lunch can feel naughty when it’s actually very healthy.
Mashed cannellini beans with celery, grilled chicken, buffalo sauce and ranch wrap (with spinach and arugula) aside some fresh fruit.

Well, April sure made up for how horrendous Match was for reading.

The Secret History had me mesmerized. I’m a huge Donna Tartt fan and this was a in-deep way to start my month.
Freedom Song is a must read! Just go, get it and read away.
The Balsnve Project was a huge redemption after the tragedy of On Grace
and,
Evidence Not Seen. : oh! A true memoir of a missionary in a Japanese camp during WW2, oh, how she challenged me in my own walk with the Lord! Think Hiding Place or Unbroken, but not. Heartrending and redemptive.!

My Great Aunt Rita’s seafood salad is legendary!
This will be supper tonight for a hot day meal.
real crab, (no imitation here!) tuna, shrimp, pickles and frozen peas combined with a fun pasta noodle and my secret sauce. Chill for at least 4 hours and BAM!
