Rustic Cabin Renovation – Project Overview
This rustic cabin renovation stands as a reflection of quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and pride in our work. Completed by a dedicated three-man crew of brothers, this project was approached with a deep respect for traditional building methods while incorporating durable, high-quality materials.
The structure was enhanced using premium rough-cut timbers and vertical heat-treated tongue-and-groove siding sourced from Sisson Log Homes based out of Blue Ridge, Georgia. Each element was carefully selected to preserve the cabin’s authentic character while improving its longevity and visual appeal.
Special attention was given to the finer details throughout the build, including custom-cut rafter tails on both porch extensions and a distinctive handrail system featuring refurbished barbed-wire fence T-posts repurposed as pickets. These unique design elements add both character and craftsmanship, reinforcing the cabin’s rustic aesthetic.
